The Old White Swan Hotel Harrogate has originated from an 18th Century coaching inn and rebuilt into Harrogate's grandest hotel in 1840. It has undertaken a full refurbishment completed in February 2006. Set in 5 1/2 acres of gardens, the hotel is famous as the retreat of Agatha Christie during her disappearance in 1926 and then as the location for the film 'Agatha' starring Dustin Hoffman and Vanessa Redgrave in 1977. All rooms at the Old White Swan Hotel are fully refurbished and feature colour TV, trouser press, iron & ironing board, welcome refreshment tray and stylish en suite bathroom.

The Old White Swan also has dry Cleaning / laundry service, 24 hour porter service, currency exchange/ cots and cribs are available / high chairs as well as priding themselves on there child friendly attitude.
