The prestigious gardens are in the beautiful settings just a few miles out from Harrogate within a valley and woodland in the Vale of York. They are open all year round and are a very popular attraction with visitors and locals alike.
The home to the Northern Horticultural Society, Harlow Carr Botanical Gardens offers an overwhelming display of the many gardens ranging from foliage gardens, rock gardens to a wonderful rose garden, a favourite with many of the visitors. Not only are there displays here but Harlow Carr Gardens offer a much more educational approach on how to grow the various plants and flower in your own back yard. They also run workshops throughout the year helping those in the need for green fingers.
